A selection of objects from the Hebrew Home’s permanent collection will be on view in the Gilbert Pavilion Gallery, including paintings by Ita Aber which incorporate fabric elements that reveal her accomplished work as a textile artist, and 20th century painter Zygmunt Menkes whose work provides a rare example of Jewish themes executed in the modernist style. The gallery is open every day from 10:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Art is an integral part of the Hebrew Home. Over 5,000 works of art are installed throughout the residential neighborhoods and public spaces for the enjoyment of residents, visitors and staff. The Derfner Judaica Museum maintains a collection of approximately 1,400 objects used in traditional Jewish ceremonies and rituals as well as Jewish Art.
