Giving Opportunities

Support Rehabilitation and Wellness Programs
The Hebrew Home is constructing the Jacob Reingold Pavilion that will house a comprehensive geriatric rehabilitation and wellness center. The Pavilion will include the first-of-its-kind aquatic therapy program in a long-term care facility. You may help support this unique program that will be open to residents and community clients.

Support Recreational and Therapeutic Programs

Your gift will establish or support enrichment programs that enhance the quality of life of our residents. Your support will help us provide entertaining and stimulating recreational activities, concerts, evening cabarets, strolling musicians, computer classes, horticulture and intergenerational programs.

Support our Tribute Fund
Your contribution through a tribute or memorial gift will support our vital work and at the same time recognize or remember a special person or special occasion. An acknowledgement card will be sent in your name.

Support our Art Fund
The Home has amassed a world-class art collection enjoyed by residents and their families. Your gift may be designated for art restoration or conservation, special exhibits or outdoor sculpture gardens. Or, you may sponsor lectures, community tours or resident art workshops.

Support the Judaica Museum
The Judaica Museum presents exhibitions on aspects of Jewish life, art and culture. With your gift you may sponsor a lecture series, a holiday concert, or support tours and special programs for children, adults and special needs visitors.

Support Spiritual Programs
The Hebrew Home offers evocative, spiritual programs for residents, families, staff and the community. Your donation will help us continue to provide pastoral counseling, support rabbinic internship programs, and celebrate Jewish holidays with special meals, religious services and events. Your contribution also ensures that Catholic and Protestant services are held regularly and major holidays are observed.

Support Alzheimer's Research
The Hebrew Home is committed to improving the quality of life for Alzheimer's sufferers and their caregivers. We operate five specially designed Alzheimer's care units, and our Research Division and National Alzheimer's Center are at the forefront of eldercare research.

Be a Volunteer!
If you would like to volunteer your time, you may join our corps of 500 dedicated volunteers of all ages and backgrounds. Retirees, adults, teens and groups are welcome. Volunteers may visit residents who have no family, help residents get to activities and therapy appointments, play bridge, mah jongg, Scrabble and poker with residents, help with arts and crafts programs, entertain, provide clerical help and more.

NEXT STEPS: Your generosity is greatly appreciated by the entire Hebrew Home family. Please remember that your gift to the Hebrew Home is tax-deductible. There are many ways you can help:
