Welcome

The Hebrew Home at Riverdale is an internationally recognized non-profit geriatric service organization offering a full continuum of care ranging from modern apartments for independent seniors to the most intense level of nursing care. The Home serves more than 10,000 older adults in greater New York.

Since its founding in 1917, the Hebrew Home has grown to include a long-term residential health care facility located on 19-acres along the Hudson River, a senior housing community, and ElderServe, the community services division. ElderServe offers a full spectrum of health care and supportive services for people living at home. In addition, in 2005 the Home opened The Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Center for Elder Abuse Prevention, providing the nation’s first shelter for victims of elder abuse in the community.
