Family Testimonials
"My family wishes to thank you and your staff for the wonderful care my father received at The Hebrew Home. My father came to the home four years ago after living alone for ten years. He had never wanted to live in a nursing home. However, from the moment he arrived, he was treated with dignity and welcomed. The residents and the staff became his extended family and he participated in the many programs the home offered. My dad attended lectures, musical programs and movies. He played bingo and cards and was involved in “Matters of the Mind.” My father’s life was extended not only by the excellent physical care he received but the mental stimulation the home provided. I can still remember how happy he was to see a baseball game again. He was an avid fan and had not been to a game in 15 years. He was always grateful for the people who attended to his needs and for the facilities of the home. My sister, brother and I were able to go on with our lives knowing how happy and well cared for he was.
No family could have been more blessed than us. … We are so very thankful for all that you have done and for what your staff continues to do to make the Hebrew Home such a special place."

“The Hebrew Home does not fit most people’s perceptions of a nursing home. The facilities are clean, colorful and beautiful – it looks more like a resort than a nursing home. I was very impressed by how well cared for and content the residents seem to be.”
“What I want for my mother is a place that will not only see to her physical needs, but will also offer her mental stimulation and challenges, along with educational and entertainment activities. The Hebrew Home seems to be that place that will fulfill these needs.”

"Thank you very much for sending the happy photograph of [my wife]
enjoying
an evening's entertainment. It was extremely comforting to see her
engaged and comfortable and having a good time... You are certainly
doing a wonderful job and your nighttime custodial program has eased
life for me and seems to be having a positive effect on her. Many
thanks."

"I wish to praise the staff and all medical personnel who attended to my mom for the excellent care she received and for the concern, kindness and respect she was shown, as was I each time I visited with her. I also wish to commend your hospice service staff who were so competent, compassionate and supportive in her final days."

"I do have to note that for all the years that my mother was a resident of The Hebrew Home, the caring, concern and attention that she received was of great comfort to me and my family. She could not have been in a better place."
